A week ago last Saturday I celebrated my 25th Birthday!

It started out with a fabulous Zumba class, then the lunch rush at Kneader's and ended with a delicious dinner at PF Changs.

Thanks to Andrew and Josh for working for us and Andrew for the gift card it was a very special night.

Tui and I were able to spend time together away from the store even though that's all we thought about and worried about while we were gone for 2 hours. :)  We tried not to talk store though. 

 I am so grateful to know such amazing people who have helped Tui and I in more ways than we can count.  We have so many who love and support us there just aren't words.

The store has been incredible. Both incredibly busy and incredibly rewarding already.  Tui and I feel so blessed and we really are enjoying working hard and trying our very best everyday.

Things get smoother and run better each day.

A little update on the week of GRAND OPENING!

GRAND OPENING!!

 This is the week! Kneader's Bakery and Cafe of Bountiful/North Salt Lake officially opens Thursday October 28th at 7:00am for regular business hours.

The address is 1050 N. 500 E. North Salt Lake, UT

(Just off the 2600 S. Exit on I-15 in Davis County)

We are open Monday through Saturday from 7:00am to 10:00pm

This week!

This has been a busy week in the Auva'a household.  One thing I've learned since being married to Tui is that everything runs on Tui time!  :) The slowest thing he's done since I met him is wait to propose. Since then it seems I jumped in the passenger seat and he has sped off to make things happen. 
This week we finished up our 2nd week of training in Orem at Corporate Kneader's.  This week will be our 3rd and final week of training and then we will be ready to get the store open and running. 
In the meantine, Tui was advanced to the office of a High Priest today and set apart as the 2nd counselor in the Bishopric of the Vaiola ward.  We are very grateful for the support and love of our parents and families as well as having Grandma and Grandpa Harbertson visiting our ward today for this very special day for Tui.  I am so grateful for the wonderful priesthood holder and example he is to all who know him.  I look forward to supporting him fully with this new opportunity to serve.
Finally, this past week we were able to find the perfect new home for us.  After looking diligently for the right place the last 6 months it seemed we'd never find something.  And then Monday evening in a last attempt on ksl as we drove up down the streets of Bountiful I found a listing with no picture.  We were close by so I called and the owner happened to be there and was willing to wait for us to come over and let us see it.  As we drove over Tui said, "I have a really good feeling about this place..."  surprisingly I felt the same.  We had really struggled in the past being on the same page about what would be the right place for us, but without having even seen a picture we both had a really great feeling.  As we pulled up we both said, "Oh yeah! This could definitely be it."  We move in this weekend and absolutely can't wait to get settled into a wonderful house that we can make an even more wonderful home.
I feel so grateful and surprisingly peaceful even with all the changes in our life this week.  We have such amazing support of family and friends and I want to say THANK YOU!! to you all.

Here we go!

Beginning Monday September 13th Tui and I are in training for the newest Kneader's Bakery and Cafe of Bountiful/North Salt Lake. 

The next few months will be a whirl wind I'm sure, but we can't wait!

We are very excited to begin this journey and look forward to each new day.

Progress!

Man, our store is looking GOOD!!

Stucco and rock going up this week and the outside is going to look fabulous! 

It's official opening is only 6 weeks out. 

We're right on schedule for official opening date scheduled for October 20th. 

 We are so excited!

It's only been 1 month and look at this!!

Our store is coming along beautifully!! Only a few more months and we'll be open and serving the public with the most delicious breads and pastires you can find!

2 Years!!!!

On July 19th 2008, I jumped on the back of the Clark family Vespa with the love of my life (red bag and all) and headed off to start our future together as Mr. and Mrs. Auva'a!

The last 2 years have been filled with laughter and a few tears, happiness and a little bit of sorrow, but mostly smiles and joy!!  It's safe to say I married my best friend and couldn't be more grateful to have Tui by my side in everything that I do!!

For our anniversary this year we headed up to an overnight Inn at the top of Main Street in Park City.  It was gorgeous complete with a dozen red roses and chocolate dipped strawberries and we also enjoyed great food, a relaxing hot tub and even $100 in FREE jewelry from Park City Jewelers. 

We had a great time celebrating a wonderful 2 years and the years to come!!!

ZUMBA LOVE FOR HAITI

Our park event was a HUGE success!

Thank you to all family and friends who came out to support such a wonderful cause. I can't wait to do another fundraiser event as well as continue on the tradition of Zumba in the park. It was truly a great night.  So proud of you mom for being such a wonderful example to me and sharing your love for serving others with me as well.  A little goes a long way in making a huge difference for others.

Girls trip to Vegas!!

I just got back from one of the most fun trips I've been on! A girls trip to Vegas with 5 new friends who quickly became like sisters.  Some of the most amazing women I have come to meet!
